Julie
is in love with Dave. She's sure of that. But if he really is
the man for her, so why is her sexual response to him so tepid?
She's afraid she's frigid, and Dave deserves better than that.
Dave's best friend Nick guesses at a different answer and proposes
a way to test out his theory.
When he joins
them for an explosive and erotic beach weekend, Julie will learn
some extraordinary things about herself. She had no idea her secret
yearning to be mastered and dominated. Accepting that need and
using it to build a relationship on that basis challenges her.
Accepting that Nick is a part of the relationship with Dave adds
another layer of complexity to an already complicated situation.

Five Stars!
"A part of the Fun in the Sun series, Dominant Boys of Summer is excellent short story. The plot has been so flawlessly developed that the storyline makes sense and the scenes that incorporate Nick, Dave and Julie never feel forced or artificial. The pace is perfectly set, so that the sex slowly builds up instead of unrealistically forcing a sexual encounter right off the bat. The relationship that develops between these three is believable and strengthens the plot. All three characters are expertly written. Julie is slightly fearful and unsure of herself, not knowing what to expect of the weekend. Her confusion evolves into strength, making her journey warm and deliciously intense. Dave is a loving man yet deliciously dominant. He has more at stake with the outcome of the weekend and his desire to see Julie happy is comforting. Then there is Nick; he’s authoritative and confident yet just a little unsure of his place in Julie and Dave’s relationship. This doubt makes him likeable and realistic. As a threesome, they burn up the page. The sex scenes incorporate BDSM acts, including pain induced orgasmic feelings and lots of intense passion. This quick read is a fabulous addition to the Fun in the Sun series."

"Ms. Kingston has given us a wonderful story of introducing someone to bondage and submission. It takes trust in each other completely in order to really be submissive and give up the control, to listen to your body and let is respond to the stimulation it needs in order to reach the ultimate goal. In Julie’s case it was finding out that she was submissive when it came to sex, she needed that extra edge to push her over the edge."

Julie
shivered as she pulled the car into the driveway leading to the
beach house. She tried to convince herself the chill came from
the cool air blasting out of the car's air conditioning but she
knew it wasn't true. Fear made her stomach clench and sent goose
bumps racing across her skin.
The beach house was nothing special.
About the same size as its neighbors, it had cedar siding, a parking
area on the ground level and a wood deck surrounding the upper-level
living quarters. From here she could see the ocean behind it but
the bulk of a dune hid the beach.
She had to force herself to turn
off the motor and climb out of the car.
Whatever happened over this long
weekend would change her life and her world. For better or worse.
After much agonizing, she had decided
to roll the dice, to give it a try, even though the plan Dave
and Nick had presented to her made her stomach roil with fear.
How much did she have to lose? A
bit of pride, more than a bit of control, Dave?
She was going to lose Dave anyway
if she did nothing. He'd shown remarkable patience with her, but
what man wanted a long-term commitment to a frigid woman?
Drawing a deep breath, she raced
up the wooden steps to the deck and knocked at the back door.
Dave opened it for her. The smile
that spread across his face worked its way under her skin and
all the way down into her heart. Then he kissed her. That long,
sweet kiss should have fired her blood and made her tingle all
over. At least that's what the novels said would happen. It didn't
for her. And yet she loved him. Tall, dark, handsome, good-natured
Dave would make most women slaver in eagerness. She wanted to
burn for him the way the books and magazines all said she should.
She wanted this to work so badly.
No matter how hard it was for her, she was going to do it.
"Hi, Jules." A second man walked
up behind Dave.
"Nick," she said, nodding to Dave's
best friend.
He offered a smile whose coolness
made a marked contrast to Dave's warm greeting.
She gave Nick the standard peck
on the cheek and drew back. She had to admit his silky blond hair,
warm, masculine smell and broad shoulders would be a temptation
to most women. The familiar pang of guilt knifed through her.
She loved Dave more than anyone in the world and was dismayed
that she could find his best friend appealing too. Julie hadn't
decided whether she liked Nick or not but she couldn't deny she
found him attractive. Still there was something intimidating about
him. Given the plans for the week, she'd better get used to it.
One way or another her life wouldn't
be the same after this week.
"Julie." Her attention switched
to Dave. "I'm going to help Nick bring in your things. I've left
linens in the front bedroom. I want you to make up the bed in
there, get us each a beer and meet us in the living room in fifteen
minutes. Oh, and change into the red two-piece when I bring in
your suitcase."
She met Dave's eyes, startled at
the stern look in them. Unusually and excitingly stern. Dave's
easy-going good nature and good looks had drawn her to him in
the first place, but his sharp wit and intelligence had sealed
the deal and made her fall in love with him.
From the corner of her eye, she
caught Nick's approving nod. So. The games had begun.
